Hi:
Every Probook 600 G2 has a sim card slot.
In order to use the sim card, the first thing you need to check is if your notebook has the required WWAN adapter that is needed to connect to the cellular wireless network.
Probably less than 10% of the HP Probook 640 G2's came with that expensive option.
If your notebook has the required WWAN hardware you will see it listed under the Network Adapters device manager category and it will be one of these two models:
HP lt4120 Qualcomm Snapdragon X5 LTE Mobile Broadband Module
or...
HP hs3110 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module
If you don't see either of those WWAN adapters installed in the device manager, then you can't use a SIM card.
Be alert for scammers posting fake support phone numbers and/or email addresses on the community.
