Hello,

I was trying to upgrade my windwos and it crashed with error :

PNP Detected Fatal Error

I had to restore my PC to a restore point and my files are safe. But after restore, I cant even see any wireless connectios.

Under device manager, I can see wireless adapter after I turn on view hidden devices.

Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-fi Adapter

Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter

Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter # 3.

All three has latest drivers. I ran windows diagnostics but it couldnt fix the issue.  How can I fix my wireless issue?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your response. Yes, I have the HP Wireless button driver installed.  Strange thing is when I restarted my computer this morning, it connected to wireless network automatically but not showing me wireless symbol in tray bar. I am able to search the internet but I dont see wireless connected symbol. The network my laptop is connected to shows no internet and disconnect options. here is the image. How can I bring back the correct wireless connections icon in tray bar?
