Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCI adapter on a 17-by1606nz.  everything was working perfectly. nothing has changed same router etc... but since some updates(bios, pilote) in october... it doesn't work properly anymore same with bluetooth. Weak signal on both.

I tried all troubleshoot solutions from windows, asked microsoft helpline, they remotely connected my laptop and tried everything. According to them it's all fine and made me reinstall windows 10 and if still problematic to ask the manufacturer Nothing changed obviously.

Needless to say that i have another laptop(lenovo) inches away from this one that has good signal and that works perfectly with my bluetooth headphone unlike my HP. so no issue on devices, router a wifi signal.

Therefore here i am asking  HP and the community.

Thanks in advance

I have the same issue with my wifes HP 15s-fq1050nd it has the same Realtek RTL8821CE network card.

My wife was complaining about video conference with google meet and teams. Voice and Video keeps lagging so she always switched over to her phone and then it was okay.

So did some speedtests and download is stable for a few seconds around 200mbps and then drops to 120mbps and rising again to 200mbps. same issue for the upload speed. With my laptop i reach 350mbps download and 290mbps upload without the drops i see on the HP. every other device like phones and tablets seems stable.

i guess it has something to do with this realtek network card.

I believe, like many others..., that our question will be unanswered...

The lesson learned don't buy any computer with realtek tech. on it
