Spectre
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a brand new Spectre laptop  for my wife. It keeps losing the wireless connection. It says "the default gateway is not available"  then it says fixed with a green check. It works for 5-10 minutes and I lose the wireless again and go through the whole process. I have a two year old Spectre that I have no problem with as wells as Ipads and mobile devices.

It might be a conflict - for example, more than one device trying to use the same connection.

One way to eliminate that possibility is to use a static IP address with devices on your network.

Sometimes, not always, restarting everything on the network, including your router can help.
