My laptop drops internet connection. It is set to auto connect but doesn't when this happens. The wireless connection icon disappears from the taskbar. Under settings/network & internet, the "wi-fi" selection also disappears. I need to "restart" to get internet connection. Why do the two wi-fi selections disappear? (They are restored upon reboot). Any suggestions to fix the problem?
