help i bought a tablet/pc at an college auction and it says i need a ide sysem and where do i get one of those the warranty expired in 2004 how do i renew that?

So what is asking for an IDE, in what context?

 

As it appears to be over 10 years old HP aint gonna be much help.  However the volunteers here.....
