My  Reaktek  RTL8723 BE  , 082.11 bgn only sees the 2.4 GHz  wireless.   Is there a way to make it see the high speed network?

Yes but some vendors may implement their product in a diffrent way (in this case Realteak) and that card ONLY supports 2.4GHz

Hi,

 

No, no other way to make it to see a high speed network. Only two other ways

 

(a) Replace it if your machine supported a high speed card card, what is your machine ?

(b) Use the following options

 

           https://www.mwave.com.au/wireless-networking/adapters-addon-cards-wireless

thanks for the response  the machine is a 15-ab220nr

question is  the wireless card says Realtex  RTL 8723be   802.11 bgn    what does the bgn mean ?  I thought it meant that it was in compliance with b, g, and n specs.
