dv6 lk469uar cross -reference to model dv6-3236nr. Please let me know if this is the model of your notebook. If it is, it is my understanding that not all model of dv6-3236nr has bluetooth. Please check the spec's of the notebook you have and make sure it has bluetooth. If you model has bluetooth:
It should show up in device manager. Look for something like bluetooth radios.
If the bluetooth driver is not loaded, it would show up as an unknown device with a yellow exclamation mark ! then just download the driver from www.hp.com and install it.
hope this helps.

Most notebooks have a switch or button on the case that sends power to the Bluetooth and wireless network devices. An indicator light glows blue when the Bluetooth or WiFi communication devices are turned on. The light glows amber when power to the device is turned off. The indicator light does not glow at all when power to the device is turned off. hope this helps.

make sure the blue light is light up. if not, on some model, the light itself is an on and off switch. Some model has a slide switch. make sure it is turned on.

You can try using the button that activates the wireless connectivity. It's the same that is used for bluetooth.I hope this helps.
