Hi @pasitalia ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP 8020e is a printer model, and you can typically send a copy (scan) from your printer to your MacBook Air using the following steps:
Ensure Both Devices are Connected:
- Make sure that your HP 8020e printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your MacBook Air.
Install HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your MacBook Air. You can find it on the Mac App Store.
Open HP Smart App:
- Launch the HP Smart app on your MacBook Air.
Add your Printer:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add your HP 8020e printer to the HP Smart app. This usually involves selecting your printer from the list of available devices and following the prompts to complete the setup.
Scan a Document:
- Once your printer is added to the HP Smart app, locate the scan option. This might be labeled as "Scan," "Copy," or a similar term.
Choose Scan Settings:
- Select the scan settings you prefer, such as color mode, resolution, and file format.
Initiate Scan:
- Place the document you want to scan on the printer's scanning bed and start the scanning process using the HP Smart app on your MacBook Air.
Save or Share the Scan:
- Once the scan is complete, you can save it to your MacBook Air or share it through email, messaging apps, or other platforms directly from the HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
