Hi @bharat007,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the Wi-Fi icon isn't showing on your HP laptop, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot.

Restart Your Laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve the issue.

Check Wi-Fi Toggle: Ensure that Wi-Fi is turned on. Look for a physical switch on your laptop or check the function keys (like Fn + F2) that toggle Wi-Fi on and off.

Enable Wi-Fi from Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and ensure it is turned on.

Check Device Manager:

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand Network adapters and check if your Wi-Fi adapter is listed.
  • If it's there, right-click on it and select Enable if it's disabled. If there's an exclamation mark, try updating the driver by selecting Update driver.

Update Network Drivers:

  • In Device Manager, right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select Update driver. Choose to search automatically for updated driver software.

Network Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters and select Network Adapter. Run the troubleshooter and follow any prompts.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security and check for updates. Install any available updates, as they may contain fixes for network issues.

Check Wi-Fi Services:

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Ensure that WLAN AutoConfig is running. Right-click on it, select Start if it's not running, and set the startup type to Automatic.

If none of these steps work, you might need to check if there's a hardware issue with your Wi-Fi adapter or consider performing a system restore to a point where the Wi-Fi was working.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
