Hi @rundenny,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having trouble connecting your HP 9010 printer to your new fiber optic network. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Restart Your Devices: Sometimes simply restarting both your printer and your fiber optic modem/router can resolve connectivity issues.

Check Network Compatibility: Ensure that your HP 9010 printer supports connection to a fiber optic network. Typically, printers connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. If your printer does not have an Ethernet port and relies solely on Wi-Fi, make sure your fiber optic router supports Wi-Fi connectivity and that it is properly set up.

Check Wi-Fi Settings: If you are connecting via Wi-Fi, check the following:

  • Ensure that the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are entered correctly on the printer.
  • Verify that the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router and that there are no obstacles blocking the signal.

Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP 9010 printer. Sometimes updating the printer's firmware can improve compatibility with newer networks.

IP Address Configuration: If you are manually configuring network settings, ensure that the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server settings are correct. These settings can usually be found in your router's configuration page.

Reset Network Settings: On the printer, you may have an option to reset network settings to default. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Check Firewall or Security Settings: Ensure that your router's firewall settings are not blocking the printer from connecting to the network. Sometimes, adjusting security settings can help.

By going through these steps, you should be able to diagnose and hopefully resolve the connectivity issue between your HP 9010 printer and your fiber optic network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
