I am trying to set up or add an HP Officejet Pro X476 dw MFP to our network.  I have been using the touch screen, using the wireless setup wizard.  I'm good until it asks for a password and a network name. The problem is that there is a Wi-Fi Direct Password and two networks consisting of the name of the printer and the name of the office wireless network.  I've tried using both without success.  It also tells me that the authentication is WPA, and this is what I need the password for.  Any ideas?

@GeminiSpirit

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • What's the Wi-Fi light status on the Printer(Blinking or Steady)?
  • Are the printer and PC connected to the same network?
  • Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz?
  • Could you share the screen where it's asking for the password?

Keep me posted for further assistance.
