Hi @bhavya221,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding laptop's connectivity!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Let's get your HP 15.6-inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 connected to wireless devices again:

1. Check Airplane Mode & Wireless Settings Press Windows + A to open the Quick Settings panel. Make sure Airplane mode is OFF. Click on Wi-Fi and try reconnecting.

2. Restart Your Laptop & Router Restart both your laptop and Wi-Fi router. If possible, connect another device to Wi-Fi to check if the router is working.

3. Update Network Drivers Press Windows + X, then select Device Manager. Expand Network adapters. Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Realtek, Intel, etc.) and click Update driver → Select Search automatically for drivers. For Bluetooth issues, repeat this for Bluetooth adapters.

4. Run Network Troubleshooter Go to Settings → System → Troubleshoot → Other troubleshooters. Run the Internet Connections and Network Adapter troubleshooters.

5. Reset Network Settings Open Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced network settings → Network reset → Click Reset now.

6. Check HP Support Assistant for Updates Download HP Support Assistant from HP's website. Check for BIOS and driver updates.

If the issue persists, let me know whether you’re facing Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or both connectivity issues for more specific help! 😊

Hello  kuroi kenshi,

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate your suggestions. However, I have tried all the procedures you mentioned, but unfortunately, they didn’t resolve the issue. My wireless headphones and mobile are still not connecting to my laptop.

Do you have any other recommendations?

Looking forward to your response.

Hi @bhavya221,

Thank you for the response

1. Check if the Wireless Adapter is Enabled

  • Press Windows + X, select Device Manager.
  • Expand Network adapters and look for the Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Intel, Realtek).
  • If it has a red or yellow warning icon, right-click > Enable.

2. Run Windows Network Troubleshooter

  • Press Windows + I > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Click Network Troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

3. Update/Reinstall Network Drivers

  • In Device Manager, right-click the Wi-Fi adapter > Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
  • If updating doesn’t help, uninstall the driver and restart the laptop. Windows should reinstall it automatically.

4. Check for Airplane Mode & Power Management Settings

  • Make sure Airplane Mode is off (Windows + A to check).
  • In Device Manager, go to Wi-Fi Adapter > Properties > Power Management and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

5. Reset Network Settings

  • Open Command Prompt (Admin) and run these commands one by one:
    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns
  • Restart the laptop and try connecting again.

6. Test with Another Network

  • Ask the CU to check if they can connect to a different Wi-Fi network or a mobile hotspot. If it works, the issue may be with their router.

If none of these steps work, we may need to check for BIOS updates or suggest using a USB Wi-Fi adapter as a temporary workaround.
