HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 (4V9Y3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My internet service measures at 100gbs on my cell phone with Ookla test. This new computer peaks at 60 gbs. I was told the processor is too slow to pass through higher speeds. Any feedback how to make it faster or is this the best I could get.

Do they use SAME network ? Your phone may use it network and better than your normal network.

Thank you. Yes, the phone and computer are on the same network and were side by side when the speed was checked. Someone else told me the laptop processor is not fast enough and limits the wifi speed.

Actually speed test use SAME information from the test site to the router therefore all devices should be the same.

No, that is wrong, the speed from router to your machine depends on your machine wifi adapter. Now, please turn OFF your router and run speed test from your phone to see what is the result.
