HP Stream Laptop 14-cb0XX       windows 10  64bit    Keyboard revision : 11.20

KEYBOARD--caps wont release unless I use shift key,     When I have to put in a code to show I am not a robot the CAP KEY WILL NOT GO OFF ---EVEN when I press the shift key.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

Firstly, run Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8 

Next step, Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Keyboards & Languages > Change Keyboard > Advanced Key Settings . There you will find the setting to turn off Caps Lock with the SHIFT key, as it should be by default. and turn on Press the CAPS LOCK key.
