HP650G1
Good afternoon!
I installed a Huawei me906 (lt4112) WWAN modem in my HP650G1 laptop. It is defined in the list of devices in the BIOS, but does not appear in the list of devices in Windows 7. The modem is enabled in the BIOS. I connected the antennas.
My battery has failed and my laptop is running on AC power. I don’t know if this can have an effect, but the instructions indicate that after installing the SIM card, you need to put the battery back in place for the modem to work.
BIOS version 1.50.
Before purchasing, they tested this modem on a similar laptop and it worked there. What could be the reason?
Thanks in advance!

Problem solved. The modem is not detected in Windows if there is no battery in the laptop. And my battery didn't work. I didn’t even see her laptop in the BIOS. I installed a new battery and everything worked. This is even mentioned in the instructions, but who reads this?))
