Tech tried to uninstall & reinstall but that was last i've seen of my ethernet. after that it no longer even list it in device manager. that was march. 6mos. ago. have had a few hp techs give it a try with no luck. I since discovered the ethernet using the USB adapter. but not great sub. it is not tight . (Has loosened up the usb port be nice to get ethernet working correctly see how this old girl will not be retiring oct.2025 I got other plans for her. i've head going into the Bios to wake the driver up. is whats done. i had been thinking there would be a hp bios update and that may wake it up. Not understanding the whole napping driver thing myself. love to here any facts about it. form someone who knows. TOPDOG505
