Only 5% to 10% of HP elitebook 840 g5 machines have WWAN option. Did you buy WWAN option for your machine ? Without WWAN option your SIM is useless. If you wish, you can buy one of the following parts and install to your machine
- LTE CAT4: Huawei HP lt4132, LTE/HSPA+ w/GPS part # 845710-003
- LTE CAT9: Fibocom Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced part # L15398-001
