I have recently signed up to instant ink ..my printer currently has no ink but information button is on ..i hatethis printer as it has no front panel and you have to print out info to do anything ..it says its connectedand blue light is on ..do i leave it switched on to enrol in instant ink program ..i think yes

I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with a printer that lacks a front panel, especially when trying to set up Instant Ink while running out of ink. Let’s figure this out together!

Just to clarify:

  • Is the printer showing any error messages or blinking lights other than the information button?
  • Have you received your Instant Ink cartridges yet, or are you still waiting for them?
  • Can your computer still detect the printer, or does it show as offline?

And yes, keeping the printer powered on is usually recommended for Instant Ink enrollment, but let’s make sure everything else is set up correctly first. Let me know, and I’d be happy to guide you further!
