@sumi5,

Good day. A Warm welcome to the Hp support forums. I will be happy to assist you here. Great description of the issue. Kudos to you for that.

  • Did this occur after a power outage or surge?
  • DId it happen after a software or Windows update?

As both the wireless and Bluetooth features don't work, the notebook came equipped with a WIreless/Bluetooth combo card. This could be faulty and may need to be replaced.

Let's try these steps:

Now check if it gets fixed.

CHeck for issue resolution. If it continues, then the Wireless and Bluetooth module could be faulty.

Run component tests on them, if available from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03467259 (HP PCs - Testing for Hardware Failures) Follow directions from the section "Component Tests"

If it fails, make a note of the failure code. It needs to be replaced. If it is not available, then a great workaround would be is to connect a USB wireless adapter or dongle and connect to the internet. You could buy one online or from a local store. It is very cost effective.

The same goes for the Bluetooth adapter. You could order a Bluetooth dongle online or locally as it is very economical and connect it to the notebook and you are good to go.

Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂
