Hi @narendra117,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Sure, let’s troubleshoot your HP 15.6-inch Laptop PC 15’s WiFi disconnection issue.

Basic Troubleshooting

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your laptop, router, and modem.

Check WiFi Signal Strength:

  • Ensure you are within range of your WiFi network.

Update WiFi Drivers:

  • Go to Device Manager > Network adapters > Right-click on your WiFi adapter > Update driver.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.

Advanced Troubleshooting

Reset Network Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset > Reset now.

Adjust Power Management Settings:

  • Go to Device Manager > Network adapters > Right-click on your WiFi adapter > Properties > Power Management tab > Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

Check WiFi Adapter Settings:

  • Go to Device Manager > Network adapters > Right-click on your WiFi adapter > Properties > Advanced tab > Check if any settings like “Roaming Aggressiveness” are set to a higher level. Try adjusting them.

Change Router Settings:

  • Ensure your router’s firmware is up-to-date. Access your router settings via a web browser and check for firmware updates.

Check for Interference:

  • Other devices or electronics might interfere with your WiFi signal. Try changing the WiFi channel on your router’s settings.

Run Network Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Internet Connections > Run the troubleshooter.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
