my hp probook 650 does not recognise sim card even if i mount it in, please help

Hi:

 

In addition to a SIM card, your notebook has to also have a WWAN card which connects to the cellular service.

 

95% of HP 650 G2's do not come with that expensive option.

 

In order for the SIM card to work, your notebook has to have one of these model WWAN cards installed...

 

HP lt4120 Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X5 LTE Mobile Broadband Module
HP hs3110 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module

 

You would find either of those listed in the device manager under the Network Adapters section.

 

If you don't see one of those (which I doubt you will), then you can't connect to a cellular service.
