Hi @Tavanna,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about the connectivity issues with your HP DeskJet Plus 4152 All-In-One printer. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue.
Restart Devices
- Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restart Router: Unplug your router from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and allow it to reboot.
- Restart Computer/Device: Restart the device you are trying to print from.
Check Wi-Fi Network
Signal Strength
- Proximity: Ensure the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Interference: Ensure there are no major obstacles or electronic devices causing interference between the printer and router.
Printer Network Settings
Reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Reconnecting:
- On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button to open the Wireless menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
Verify Connection
- Print Network Configuration Page:
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for at least 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking.
- Print a Network Configuration Page to check if the printer is connected to the correct network.
Update Printer Firmware
- Update Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support page and download the latest firmware for your printer model.
- Follow the instructions to update the firmware.
Static IP Address
- Assign Static IP:
- Access your router’s settings page via a web browser (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1).
- Assign a static IP address to your printer to prevent IP conflicts.
- Update the printer's network settings with the static IP address.
HP Smart App
- Reconfigure Using HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Use the app to reconnect the printer to the Wi-Fi network.
Reset Network Settings
- Reset Printer Network Settings:
- On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button and the Cancel button at the same time and hold for 5 seconds.
- Release the buttons, and the printer will reset its network settings.
By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and fix the Wi-Fi connectivity issues with your HP DeskJet Plus 4152 All-In-One printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
