Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am experiancing a sytange issue with my HP laptop which is, whenever i connect a bluetooth device to my laptop the wifi automatically stops working.

it is not the case that the wifi is turned off.

The wifi stays ON and connected but everything starts to buffer and ultimately i am not even able to open websites and aaps start saying "no internet connection".

But as soon as i turn the bluetooth of my laptop "OFF", then everything becomes normal and the same wifi network does the job without any issues.

I hope this is some driver issue.

Someone assist me please.

Hi @Ritesh_Chauhan

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try these steps -

1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results.
2) In Device Manager, select Network adapters > the network adapter name.
3) Right-click on the network adapter, and then select Uninstall device > Delete the driver software for this device check box > Uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.

5) Download and install the Wi-Fi driver from this link

I'd also suggest try changing the router channel to check if that resolves the issue.

Let me know how that goes.

Thanks for the help but this did not solve my problem.

I think the problem might be with my bluetooth driver.

Have you tried updating the computer? If you have not, try these steps -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Windows was already up to date.

when i checked HP support assistant there were 18 updates available.

i updated all of them (bluetooth driver update and wireless LAN driver update also included).

But i am still facing the same problem sadly.

please.
