HP Pavilion TS Sleekbook 14
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I'm an HP Pavilion TS Sleekbook 14 user with Windows 10 OS. I am currently having trouble with my wireless connectivity.

I can't find the icon for wireless connection. Right now, my laptop is only connected to our LAN cable for connection.

thanks.

Hello Sleekbook14User

What is the full model number or product number of your Sleekbook?

The HP Support Assistant can tell you the number if you cannot find it.

On your keyboard, you should see the Wifi symbol located on the F12 key.

It will either look like an antenna or an airplane.

If it has a white light, its on.

If it has an amber light, its off.

Tap F12 or hold the fn key and tap F12.

If you need the driver, I will need to know the model number.

OK Thanks.

HP doesn't support Windows 10 drivers for that model. Was the Wifi card working with 10 prior to this or did you just upgrade?

According to the drivers page, you will either have a Mediatec, Qualcomm or Intel wireless lan card.

Look up the Device ID number for your card.

Windows key +X, then choose Device Manager.

Look for Network adapters and click the dropdown arrow.

See if there is something pertaining to wireless and right click on it, then go to Properties.

Look up the Device ID numbers and post them.

The driver for Windows 8.1 will most likely still work. If not, I will see if I can find out what will.
