Hi @juanortiz771,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 425Se is not printing from your Dell Inspiron 16 laptop, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Check Printer Connections:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your laptop via USB or network.
  • If using a USB connection, try using a different USB port or cable.

Verify Printer Status:

  • Make sure the printer is powered on and has paper and ink or toner.
  • Check if there are any error messages on the printer display or indicators.

Set as Default Printer:

  • On your Dell laptop, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers (or Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners).
  • Find your HP DeskJet 425Se, right-click it, and select Set as default printer.

Update or Reinstall Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website and search for the latest drivers for the HP DeskJet 425Se.
  • Download and install the latest drivers compatible with your operating system.

Check Print Queue:

  • Open Devices and Printers, find your HP DeskJet 425Se, and double-click it to open the print queue.
  • Check if there are any stuck print jobs. Cancel any stuck jobs and try printing again.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your Dell Inspiron 16 and the HP DeskJet 425Se.

Run Printer Troubleshooter:

  • On your Dell laptop, go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Select Printer and run the troubleshooter.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
