HP ENVY - 17-ce1031nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. trying to address continuing video conferencing problems and have exhausted most options provided by HP support except a system reset, which I'm trying to avoid. One last non-reset option appears to be changing the network card. What is the best replacement network card, ideally that is wifi 6-capable.  Thanks!

Hi:

HP only has the service manual for the older 17-ce0xxx model series, but it also lists the same Wi-Fi adapter that your notebook has.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP ENVY 17m Laptop PC

So, if you want to try and upgrade to a better card than the Intel 9560 AC (though I don't know why that model Wi-Fi adapter is inadequate based on its specs), try this one:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # L35282-005

You can find the above model Wi-Fi adapter on eBay.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi adapter.

I can't guarantee it will work, but it would be the one that has the best chances of working.

Thanks very much, Paul. Will give it a shot.
