The SIM card feature does not appear for me

Hi:

 

If you inserted a SIM card in the slot and you can't connect to any cellular network that is because your notebook is one of about 90% that don't come with the optional and expensive WWAN adapter that is needed to connect to the cellular service.

 

All the SIM card does is to authorize you to use a cellular provider's network.

 

In order to connect to a cellular network, your notebook must have one of these WWAN adapters listed under the Network adapters device manager category:

 

HP lt4132 LTE/HSPA
Intel XMM 7360 LTE
