Hello -- where can I find info on how fast my  ethernet (hard wired) connetrion is?

Hi:

 

Your notebook comes with a gigabit ethernet adapter, so it should be connecting at 1 GB/S.

 

That doesn't mean the download speed with be 1 GB/S. 

 

That depends on what service your internet service provider offers, and what download speed you are paying for.

 

See the info below under the Check Your Wired Network Speed section of the article below...to see what speed your ethernet adapter is connecting at.

thanks for the info -- I just wanted to make sure the the connected was 1gb to  match the local lan
