my laptop was stolen after being arrested and my stuff was left at the hotel i was stayin at and i was wondering if there was any way to ping the location of my laptop so i could poss regain possession of it thank you if you answer

Very sorry to hear this! Unfortunately, HP has no way to track it.
Unless you activated "Find My Device" on your laptop ~before~ it disappeared, or if you have specialized software installed (i.e. [Content Removed]), the laptop is gone.
IF you did activate "Find My Device" you'll need to contact MicroSoft: account.microsoft.com/devices
It has been recommended many times on this Forum that you contact local law enforcement and let them know any pertinent details you might be able to find - model number, serial number, and proof of purchase (in case they locate a laptop as a result of a crime committed).
