Your notebook does not have the required WWAN adapter that is needed to connect to a cellular network.

 

That was an expensive option that very few 830 G5's come with.


All the SIM card does is authorize you to use your cellular provider's network.

 

In order to connect to a cellular network, your notebook must have one of the following WWAN adapters listed in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category.

 

HP lT4210, LTE/HSPA+ w/GPS
Fibocom lT4210 LTE/HSPA+ w/GPS
