Hi,
I believe it's possible to replace the built-in Intel network card (wifi and bluetooth) with a newer one that supports wifi 6.
Are there tutorials or guides showing how to perform such an upgrade?
Thanks!

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
The wifi adapter removal and replacement procedure can be found in chapter 5.
HP only offered one model Wi-Fi adapter in your notebook's model series and that is the one your notebook has installed now.
So...if you want to experiment with installing a Wi-Fi 6 card this is the one I recommend you try. It must be a non-vPro card.
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005
You can find this model wifi adapter on eBay. Search by the HP part number.
An Intel AX201 wifi card definitely won't work.
The one I selected for you has the best chances of working.

Thanks for the swift response!
Since I'll be embarking on this experiment, should i go one step further and try and upgrade to wifi 6E with the AX210?
Available on ebay as well as HP part # M27269-0050A?
Thanks

Please post back and let us know how your notebook's Wi-Fi card upgrade project went.
That way we are able to share the info with other forum members that have notebooks with the same model series that want to upgrade their Wi-Fi cards.
