Hi @devmaster,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Victus (Product Number: A9NC2PA#ACJ) is not showing Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, even after driver updates, and you’re unable to reset Windows. Let’s go through steps to try and resolve this software/hardware detection issue.

Check Device Manager

Press Windows + X → Device Manager → Network Adapters.

Look for your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapters.

If they’re missing or show a yellow triangle, right-click → Scan for hardware changes.

If still missing, the system isn’t detecting the adapters, which may indicate a software or BIOS issue.

Run HP Support Assistant Hardware Diagnostics

Open HP Support Assistant → Troubleshooting → Network/Wireless Tests.

Run Wireless LAN and Bluetooth tests to see if hardware is detected.

Note any error codes.

Check BIOS/UEFI for Wireless Adapter

Restart the laptop → press Esc or F10 to enter BIOS.

Go to Advanced → Built-in Device Options (or similar).

Make sure Wireless LAN / Bluetooth are enabled.

Save and exit BIOS.

Reset Network Settings via Windows

Open Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced Network Settings → Network Reset.

This removes all network adapters and reinstalls them.

Restart your laptop after reset.
(If Windows reset itself fails, proceed to the next step.)

Use Windows Recovery / Safe Mode

Restart and boot into Safe Mode with Networking:

Hold Shift while clicking Restart → Troubleshoot → Advanced Options → Startup Settings → Restart → press 5 for Safe Mode with Networking.

Check if Wi-Fi/Bluetooth appears in Device Manager.

If yes, uninstall and reinstall drivers using HP Support Assistant.

Update BIOS and Chipset Drivers

Download the latest BIOS and chipset drivers from the HP website for your model.

Install them carefully and restart.

Missing Wi-Fi/Bluetooth detection can sometimes be caused by outdated BIOS or chipset drivers.

I hope this helps.
