Hi @Dishearted,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP laptop's Wi-Fi is not showing up, there could be several reasons behind this issue. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

  1. Physical Switch or Function Key: Check if your laptop has a physical switch or a function key combination that might disable Wi-Fi. It's often activated by pressing Fn + a function key (e.g., F3, F12).

  2. Settings in Windows 11:
    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on.
    • Check if the correct network is appearing and connect if available.

  3. Device Manager:
    • Open Device Manager by right-clicking on the Start menu.
    • Expand Network adapters and look for your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Realtek or Intel Wi-Fi card).
    • Right-click and select Update driver.

  4. Windows Update:
    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    • Check for updates and install any pending updates.

  5. Troubleshooter:
    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
    • Select Network Adapter and run the troubleshooter.

  6. BIOS Settings:
    • Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup (usually by pressing F10 or another key during boot).
    • Ensure that the network adapter is enabled if there's a relevant setting.

  7. Router Restart:
    • Sometimes, the issue might be with the router rather than the laptop. Restart the router and check if the network appears.

If none of these steps resolves the issue, consider contacting HP support for further assistance. It might be a hardware-related problem,

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
