Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My computer updated windows 10. When it did I lost my network adapter.  I tried to update it but I can't because have no internet on it.  I tried to down load from HP and install but the PC will only accept windows downloads because it is in S mode.  I can't switch out of S mode because I have no internet.   This is very frustrating,   I have tried to wipe the pc back to factory but it looks like it is still gone.   It may be the adapter but I believe it is a driver issue
