i want help.

 

 

How can i find the Windows product key?

I had to refresh my laptop recently to fix a problem.

I have tried to upgrade to windows 8.1 or 10 but  the system asked for a product key.

I don't have it. The laptop came pre- installed with the windows operating system

 

 

Please Help

Hi:

 

Starting with W8, Microsoft requires all PC manufacturers to put the Windows product key in the BIOS.

 

No more product key stickers like on W7 and older Windows operating systems.

 

Are you in W8 right now, or is there no operating system installed at all?

 

If you are in W8, run the free utility that I zipped up and attached below that will show you the W8 product key in your notebook's BIOS.

 

If you have no operating system at all, let me know, and I will give you the steps to clean install W8.1 by using the W8 product key in your notebook's BIOS.
