Something has happened to my Bluetooth/ Wireless adapter.
I was able to connect Bluetooth headphones a year ago, but not anymore. Could it be something to do with successive updates that have corrupted my original network adapter / drivers?
I seem to recall reading somewhere that under Bluetooth Radios it should be something other than Generic Bluetooth Adapter. I tried to install sp61660 but nothing happens.
I would really appreciate someone taking a look at this screenshot and letting me know if something looks out of place.
Thanks,

Hi:
Looking at your screenshot, you are missing the Intel Bluetooth driver...

Thank you, I appreciate your prompt response - but I must be doing something wrong. I install from your link, a script runs and I get the message "All installations completed, please refer to the log file for details." However, there is no change to the screenshot I sent. Should I uninstall anything first?

You're very welcome.
If nothing is changing it must be the wrong version of the Intel driver.
Uninstall any Intel bluetooth software in the Windows control panel>Programs.
The install this version.

Thanks again for your help, Paul.
I feel we're getting close to a solution - but not quite there yet (still nothing shows up when I attempt to add my bluetooth devices).
This is what now shows in my Device Manager;

You're very welcome.
Looking at your screenshot, the Bluetooth is installed correctly and should be working properly.
Did you make your PC discoverable in the Bluetooth settings?
That feature is turned off by default.
The bluetooth peripheral device...needs a driver.
See this article from Microsoft...
They link you to the Vista 32 bit Windows Mobile Device Center.

Yes - PC is discoverable.
I'm a bit confused about your subsequent point about the device needing a driver - your links point to;
1. troubleshooting instructions, which suggest I should go to my earphone manufacturers website for drivers,
2. drivers for Microsoft devices.
Both my devices (Sony earphones, and B&0 Headphones) came with no drivers, but installed easily on my Android phone.
The Headphones also connected to my zBook when I first got them - and I assume Windows found its driver and handles the installation.
My zBook should in any case show the other Bluetooth devices I have nearby - by shows nothing, so I don't think the problem lies with my devices, but rather with the zBook's Bluetooth settings.
Any other suggestions?

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to watch this video.
This person seems to have had a similar issue where no BT devices were showing up...

Thanks again, but I'm going to give up - I've tried every option multiple times.
When I boot my zBook with Linux, the Bluetooth works fine - so at least I know it's not a hardware issue.
I'll probably "up"-grade to Windows 10 at some point, so it might work again in the future.
