Sir. There is a Black Line which Appeared on my Laptop Screen by its own and it's growing day by day. It was not caused due to any mismanagement or mishandling of the product. Still Your Staff Says that it is not covered in warranty period while I checked that my problem satisfies all your conditions and it is eligible for replacement or repair for free in the warranty period. So, I want the executive to look into the matter and Proceed what is Rightful.

Cracked screen is not generally covered by the warranty. Everybody says it just happened but the laws of physics dictate otherwise. I will make an effort to escalate to someone within HP who can make a decision but do not expect too much.

Sir, I know Cracked Screen is not Covered in Warranty but The Screen is not Cracked. I am myself a Student in IIT, So I know the difference in crack and concavity curve in screen. I feel it has got curved in the concave inward direction. It might be due to some climatic changes. It actually appears as a Black Line (if you ask I can show you the Black Line by Photo and make you believe that it is not a Crack) which seems to me that the pixels behind the screen are displaced due to the concavity. That's why I am saying that it doesn't violate your Warranty Policy. So, With Due Regards I was asking for proper repair of my Screen inside the Warranty Period for free.

I don't work for HP so it is not my Policy. I am free to just say what makes sense (and what does not).

" the pixels behind the screen are displaced due to the concavity"

What? The screen panel is flat as a pancake. I think you will have to take a picture. If it is not a crack, if it is just a line of dead pixels, and if you are still within the warranty period, then it would be covered, theoretically. But this laptop is at least 3 years old so how is it still within warranty?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.

I know it's Flat. That's why I wrote it MAY have curved a bit due to Climatic Changes. There is a Feature called Extended Warranty. So My Laptop has been subscribed to it. So My Warranty has 4 months remaining. Can You Guide Me How should I attach the photo of my "Black Line on Screen" because I cannot see any tab like "Upload Attachment or Image" ?

Just follow HP's instructions. I am out of it now.

OK. Can You Please Do Me The Favour to take my case forward to your Indian Executive if possible. That would be enough help from your side.

I do not work for HP. I don't know any Indian Executives. Sorry.
