A constant low noise/sound from the Pavilion 13 Notebook

Pavilion b202TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Notebook is making a low sound from the Day-1. It's barely audible in general but very annoying in a slient room. It might be due to fan constanly running or the Hard drive. Has anyone faced this before? Is this okay? or needs to be shown to a service engineer.

FYI, I checked the notebook is not getting heated up.

A constant low noise/sound from the Pavilion 13 Notebook

Hey @Mrinal05,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I understand that you are having some issues with the operation noise of your HP Pavilion Notebook - 13-b202tu. I can help you with that.

The noise you are hearing is most likely a fan that is keeping your notebook from overheating. While you would want the fan to be operational while you are using the notebook, by adjusting the hibernation settings on your notebook, you can prevent the fan from operating when it is not in use. This document outlines how to adjust hibernation mode settings on your notebook. The document was designed to disable these features, but you can certainly reverse the directions to enable.

Please let me know if this resolves your issues. If it does, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.
