Re: Adobe Flash Player will not work on windows 7

If you are running W7 64 bit then use the 32 bit version of IE.

Re: Adobe Flash Player will not work on windows 7

brain42,

Are you using the 32 bit version version of IE 8 or the 64 bit version?  Go to the Help bar for IE 8 and select about.  It will tell you if you are using the 64 bit version.  You can find the 32 bit IE 8 via the Start button.

Re: Adobe Flash Player will not work on windows 7

I had the same problem.  Adobe Flash Player will not work on the 64 bit version.  I went through the loop several times installing and nothing happening.  I launched the 32 bit version and it worked fine.

[ Edited ]

Many have found the Flash player will not work with the 64 bit IE.  Adobe is a little bit behind the eight ball on this issue.

Re: Adobe Flash Player will not work on windows 7

I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling flashplayer 10.1 using a 32 bit IE browser in Win7 (about 15 times so far)  & I still cannot run any apps that use flashplayer. What else can I try? There must be some setting in the registry - I had a 2 week reprieve where flashplayer started working again & then  poof! It doesn't work anymore & I didn't think it was going to regress so I didn't make a backup disk...
