Auto warranty on laptop

HP Recommended

I have just received a replacement for a stolen laptop, however, when I see the warranty date it runs out in January, 2015! I have already pursued the HP support line, sent a copy of my advice note etc, but now have received an email saying the case is closed (a bit Inspector Cluseau-like!). Well, it is not resolved, the warranty date is still showing as the same. I guess a forum chat cannot help me with this, but if anyone has any ideas on how to escalate such an issue it may be a start! Thank you
