I have a HP Notebook - 14-ac108na (ENERGY STAR).
When I power it up the LED light on the side shows that it is receiving power.
HOWEVER the screen remains Black/Blank.
I have tried to update the BIOS as suggested by HP/Support but this has not worked (tried 5 times).
Does anyone have a suggestion as to hiw this can be resolved?

I am sorry for the issues you experience with your HP computer.
Please, review these 2 HP official articles about such issues you experience now. Follow the appropriate steps that fit your case to attempt to fix the issue:
If you did try everything but nothing helped, I am afraid you will need to bring your computer (or ship it) to service - HP Authorized service center. If the computer is still under warranty, you will need to notify HP support first. If you are not sure where such a center is located, please contact HP support for assistance in finding one.
