Seems I'm not the first to take to the forums to voice my disappointment and sheer disbelief at HPs LACK of customer service! I own a HP ENVY notebook which is experiencing a, what I now know to be a very common, defect in the design of the hinges - this has now caused the plastic casing to break meaning I cannot close the screen. Yes - it is out of warranty but I am extremely opposed to paying for a repair of what is obviously a terrible DESIGN FLAW. I have recieved empty promises of a call back from HP complaints....... HELP?????!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
