I just ordered a replacement battery for my laptop...1st time replacing the battery. I can't find any info on proper proceedures to discharge, charge, and calibration of the new battery... I'm sure there are power settings I need to change through the process. Can anyone help guide me?

Please update the HP support assistant to the latest version. Link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-G71-Notebook-PC-series/4004505/model/4035648/document/c021487...
Please update the bios and chipset drivers also from this link: http://hp.com/drivers Please select the country and type the product# of the unit to do this. Updating the bios and chipset drivers will help to maintain the overall health of the computer.
