T he batteri is fully discharged (0%), the battery status is "battery plugged but not charging).
I cannot charge the battery.

I've removed the battery, restarted and used the laptop without it, restarted again the lapot with the battery but I've not solved the problem.

Battery plugged, not charging

@Federico_G,

Thank you for posting on HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.

As I Understand the laptop is plugged into the adapter/charger but it doesn't charge or power on anymore,

Don't worry, though, as I have a few steps listed below that should help you resolve this concern:

Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.

Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.

Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager,

Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.

If the issue persists, I would suggest you perform these steps:

Battery Does Not Power Notebook or Hold a Charge

Battery Charging Delayed When Operating Notebook in High Ambient Temperatures

Battery Does Not Charge when Using a Voltage Adapter with the Power Adapter

Battery Indicator Light Turns On and Off While Battery is Charging

Let me know if you need any assistance in the future.
