Boot Device Not Found

Pavillion
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
I was receiving a hard disc failure warning and told to replace the hard drive. I made a recovery and an image of the old hard drive. When I turn the computer on after replacing the hard drive it says to install an operating system on the hard disc.

When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and product number (p/n) of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.

The above requested information can be found on the bottom of your computer, inside the battery compartment or on the startup BIOS screen. Please see How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? for more assistance locating this information. DO NOT include your serial number.

After you replaced the defective hard drive you need to install an operating system or use the HP Recovery Media you previously created. To use the installation or recovery media, you must insert the media in the computer and then turn the computer on. Next, immediate start tapping the "F9" key or the "ESC" key and then "F9". Now selelct the media from the Boot Selection screen.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
