Hi,

 I bought HP Envy Spectre some month ago and currently i see Bright white spot on the bottom of my screen. And this place gets more hot whereas rest of the area of the screen are very cool. Please let me know what should i fix to overcome this problem

I have a very similar problem that I just noticed and my HP Envy is abou the smae age.

 

I was looking at a forum post (forum had a white background) and I noticed on the screen, I'd say like an inch above the power button on my HP Envy 6-1129wm is a slightly white colored spot.

 

For some reason if I look at stuff that is any other color besides white I find it impossible to see said dot, yet it's a fair amount noticeable on white.

 

Luckily I almost never have white on my screen but I was looking at it like, what?

i have the same issue with my HP ENVY dv6-7210us. the white sopts look exactly like that in the picture

I also have the same problem, but I have an 15 Notebook pc. It came about a month after I had my pc, too. And it also only shows on white screens...

i have the same problem with the white spots on the edges and it is very irritating when i just bought the laptop...i will not buy another hp because of this, its brand new jeez
