Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

So I also have a broken laptop hinge.  I have tried the help line, Best Buy (the orignal vendor), amazon for replacement parts and in the end I have been unable to get any assisitance.  I am desperately hoping to find an assist and ge tthe hinge fixed since I have innumerable files that I cant risk losing to the  trnafer process.  Is there anyone that can get me a repair slot (i will pay) withth the HP  product folks so they cna fix this  hinge?

Fwiw-anyone with files they can't lose should have an external USB hard drive for backups. Any machine can have a hard drive failure at any time taking your files with it.

 

When you say you have tried the help line-is that HP support number? If they can't get you fixed up there may be no parts available.

 

What is the full Model or Product number of the laptop?

The full model numberis #G60-535DX  also has p/n:VM085UA#ABA

I checked HP Partsurfer- no parts available. Enter your Product number without the #aba. Enter it as VM085UA to get the part number of hinge and look for it online-Amazon or eBay usually has a source.
