Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm looking to buy a new warranty for my laptop. 
I own an HP Omen that was sent to me on Jan 30, 2015 after my previous laptop, a pavilion, stopped working and was replaced via the warranty on that computer. The extra year of warranty that comes with a replacement laptop expired on Jan 30, 2016. 

My question is, if I were to purchase a warranty for this computer, what would the start date be? Would it be Jan 30, 2015, the date I received this computer? Or would it reset all the way back to when I purchased the pavilion, in which case, it would be totally useless and would have already expried.

After reviewing your post, I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for more details. Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone numberCase number and phone number appear.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.
