@HASIM123

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand the battery doesn't charge as fast as it normally used to,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Did you try reinstalling the battery drivers to improve charge performance?

Have you updated the BIOS?

I have a few steps listed below that should help you resolve this concern:

  • Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.
  • Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.
  • Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager,
  • Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.

Please update the BIOS after the above steps,

And keep me posted for further assistance 😉
